Our Exclusive Missabittatitti Print

At Team Missabittatitti we don’t just consider ourselves breast cancer survivors.

Our dragon boat racing team is a team of thrivers, and we are all about fun and fitness and living life to its fullest. We paddle hard and are competitive on the water, but also enjoy connecting socially.

We also have a proud history as a breast cancer survivor dragon boat racing team.

Our exclusive breast print cancer pattern was inspired by one of MBT’s earlier coaches Ewen McDonald, and his wife, Emiliia, who snapped an image of a similar print he saw at the 2009 Club Crew World Championships in Prague.

Excited by the prospect of producing something similar, our print was developed with the creative input of all Dragon's Abreast Brisbane members.

Team members of MBT all provided motivating words and phrases that encapsulate MBT’s pink spirit. If you look closely at the shirt MBT member Ruth is wearing, Ewen’s name is also included in the print, encapsulating his inspiration for our "Ewen Shirt"!

Ever since, MBT has continued to use our beloved print to continue to capture our team spirit. The print is used in our head sox and the lining on our team hooded jackets.

This exclusive print continues to be used when creating team merchandise, like our head sox, and even as the lining of our hooded jackets!

It is just one way that we fulfill our goal of increasing public awareness of the positive benefits of exercise and group activity after a breast cancer diagnosis.
