Everyone like loves a sausage sizzle.

And on Sunday, 7 April 2019, Team Missabittatitti and Pink Connections served up tasty sausages at Bunnings Cannon Hill.

Despite a group of MBT paddlers over in Hamilton, New Zealand for the Dragon Boat National Champion, MBT and Pink Connections showed our true team spirit and worked hard to raise funds and increase awareness of the many benefits of dragon boat paddling for breast cancer survivors.

And our teamwork off the water paid off!

Yes, with such a snag-loving crowd in Brisbane it is no wonder the Dragons Abreast Brisbane team and their Pink Connection support crew were busy serving up perfectly cooked snags and filling bellies all day long at Cannon Hill Bunnings!

We guess what they say is true:

All jokes aside, our team had a wonderful time feeding up snag lovers and thank Cannon Hill Bunnings for allowing us to manage their very popular sausage sizzle.

As a not-for-profit sports group, we will use the funds raised from our Bunnings BBQ to help out with the costs of running our Brisbane club. That includes purchasing equipment for our team, especially items such as shade tents and boating and safety equipment required for dragon boating regattas.
