Sunday 21 July 2019 is looking to be a fun day on the water, as a team of Dragons Abreast Brisbane are heading up to Tin Can Bay for one of the very popular social regattas of the year.

After a hugely successful campaign at the Australian Nationals, both new and more established members of our dragon boat racing club are hitting the road to enjoy a weekend at the picturesque Cooloola Coast.

For some of crew this will be their very first time at a dragon boat regatta, and a great choice!

Tin Can Bay is about 220 kilometres from Brisbane, and although the nights may get a bit chilly, the sparkling water, abundance of fresh air and calming natural surroundings make it must visit paddling destination.
